1.UNDP administrator Helen Clark visited Rajasthan on March 6, 2010.
2.About 4500 years old settlement surrounded by a fortified structure, belonging to Harappan civilization was excavated at Shikarpur village in Kutch district, Gujarat recently.
3.Chichibu fire festival was observed at Nagatoro, outside of Tokyo Japan on March 7, 2010. The festival includes the 'hi-watari' or the traditional 'fire-walk' ritual.
4.Elections were held in Iraq on March 7. On the same day 24 persons were killed in bomb blasts in the country.
