1.According to Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU),India ranks 99th among 187 nations as far as representation of women in legislatures is concerned.
Top five (5) countries in empowering women -
1.Rwanda(total seats-80/seats represented by women-45/56.3%)
2.Sweden(total seats-349/seats represented by women-162/46.4%)
3.S.Africa(total seats-400/seats represented by women-178/44.5)
4.Cuba (total seats-614/seats represented by women-265/43.2%)
5.Iceland(total seats-63/seats represented by women-27/42.9%)

2.The Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS) is located at New Delhi.

3.Food inflation declined marginally by 0.06 percentage points during the week ending February 27 from 17.87 % in the previous week.
